Janet K. Pensak, 45, of Tunkhannock, died Friday, Jan. 6, 2005, in Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre.
Born in Scranton on Nov. 22, 1960, daughter of Thelma Erat Pensak and the late Ronald Pensak, she was the loving mother of Mya Pensak, the light of her life. She was a 1978 graduate of Lackawanna Trail High School and a member of Tunkhannock Assembly of God Church, where she was a Sunday school teacher.
She was considered among all who knew her to be a bright light that brought laughter and warmth to their day. A favorite auntie among her nieces and nephews, always giving her constant love and attention, she will be missed terribly by all who knew her.
Also surviving are three brothers, Ronald and wife, Patti Pensak, Clarks Summit; Jeff and wife, Kathleen Pensak, Wilmington, N.C.; and David and wife, Lynn Pensak, Pleasant Gap; four sisters, Loretta and husband, Russ Kipp, Wyalusing; Linda and husband, Lee Barnes, Dalton; Ellie and husband, Gary Toczko, Mehoopany; and Diane and husband, Frank Billings, Lake Winola; nieces and nephews: Tyler, Morgan and Shane Pensak, Autumn, Bud, and Niles Putnam, Theron and Laurel Barnes, Garrett and Mitchell Pensak, Haley, Jacob Maggie Toczko, Aaron, Adam and Avery Billings; grandnieces and grandnephew: Caden and Kierin Pensak and Madison Putnam.
Funeral services were Tuesday, Jan. 10, at the Tunkhannock Assembly of God Church, with the Rev. Richard Worner officiating.
