Tunkhannock Halloween parade a success

 

Despite a steady drizzle, the Tunkhannock Kiwanis held its annual Halloween Parade through downtown Tunkhannock on Thursday, Oct. 31.

And they had refreshments of doughnuts and cider behind People’s Neighborhood Bank.

The Kiwanis Wyoming County Fair Queens were on hand to give out awards to costume winners. They included:

*Most Original Under 6: 1-Garden Gnome, Ashland Horman; 2-Lighted Robot, Mason Roccograndi; 3-The Joker’s Girlfriend, Macy Valentine .

*Most Creative: 1-The Lone Ranger and Tonto, John Paul, Sarah Henn and Molly Hill; 2- Money Man, Dayton Kandrovy.

*Scariest: 1-Pumpkin Head Scarecrow, Christopher Mirabelle; 2- Zombie, Emelie Filer.

*Funniest: 1-Dr. Seuss Family, Briana Forkal; Keegan, Kolton, Kadyn and Kali Forkal and Katina and Sage Brown; 2-Kleenex and Tylenol, Alyvia and Aiden Cobb.
